An order is placed when you tell us clearly that you wish to proceed with a stated quotation at the stated price. We accept an order by sending you confirmation, by returning to you a signed copy of a document, or by beginning the work you have asked us to start.
Where an order is very large, presses on several of our resources, or involves work we have not performed before, we may ask you to sign a brief confirmation so that both sides are clear about scope, timeline and price. No testing work begins until we have a shared and agreed scope for that engagement, so that you are never surprised by charges for stages you did not request.
We will perform testing with reasonable skill and care and in line with the method you approved in the written plan. We carry out inspection, functional testing and screening using our own equipment and trained staff, and we keep records that let us explain every reported result.
Timeframes given for delivery are estimates made in good faith. While we work hard to meet them, they are not guaranteed, and we will not be liable for delay caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, such as transport interruptions, laboratory breakdowns or delays in samples reaching us. If an estimated date cannot be met, we will tell you as soon as we know rather than leave you guessing.
Before any run begins we agree with you what the plan includes, so nobody is surprised later. That written plan describes the samples we expect, the measurements we intend to take and the criteria a passing sample must meet. If your file changes or new boards arrive mid-project, we stop and talk to you rather than silently testing against a plan you no longer recognise. This habit of plain speaking keeps every engagement honest and makes the finished report meaningful.
Our laboratory operates within a defined set of conditions to keep results consistent. Equipment is checked and calibrated on a schedule, and environmental variables that could affect a measurement are noted rather than ignored. You remain the owner of the sample boards and components you send us. Title to those items passes back to you completely on return, and nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your hardware to us.
We ask that samples arrive with clear labelling and at least a short note of the intended work. We will take reasonable care of samples while they are in our hands, but we strongly encourage you to insure materials that are expensive or hard to replace. Where any stage of testing is destructive, such as decapsulation for authenticity checks, we will tell you clearly in advance, because not all sample material can be returned intact.
Our reports describe what was measured and observed for the samples we actually tested under the agreed methods. A clear result on a sample does not guarantee that every unseen item in a larger batch behaves in the same way, because testing by samples is only a statistical view of a whole population.
Reports are prepared for your own internal use in deciding whether to release, rework or reject hardware. Where you intend to show a report to a customer, an insurer or a certification body, we can prepare a version suitable for that audience on request, and that version may be subject to a separate fee. You agree not to represent a report as covering parts that were not tested.
A report is a statement of what we measured, not a promise that a whole batch is flawless. When we test a sample of a wider population, the result tells you with a known level of confidence what the wider batch is likely to contain, and we say so plainly rather than overstate it. If you need a guarantee about every single unit, the honest answer is a test that covers every unit, and we will tell you the difference in price between that and a sampled run so the choice is yours.
We keep raw bench readings behind every headline figure, and we are glad to walk you through them. Photographs accompany visual findings and capture each reject clearly. Good reporting is part of good testing, because a result that cannot be explained is barely better than no result at all.
Fees are set out in the quotation we send before work begins. Unless the quotation states otherwise, payment is due within thirty days of the date of our invoice. Where we apply a deposit for high-cost or long-running work, the deposit is due before work starts and is set against the final balance.
If a payment is late, we may pause work on open orders until the account is settled and we may add a reasonable charge to cover the cost of collection. All fees are stated and payable in the currency quoted, and any transfer charges of our bank are passed on to you so that we receive the full amount we invoiced.
Where a project grows beyond the scope you approved, we raise the matter openly before doing extra work and confirm any additional fee with you first. Testing is not the sort of work where hidden surprises should appear on the invoice, and we would rather pause for a short conversation than run up a charge you did not expect. Conversely, if the finished work turns out simpler than estimated, we pass that saving back to you rather than pocketing it, because honest dealing is what builds relationships that last across many batches.
We also keep our billing straightforward for bookkeepers. Every invoice refers clearly to the order it covers, lists the services performed and carries the tax details your accounts team may need. If a figure is unclear to anyone in your finance office, a single message to us sorts it out quickly.

You may view and print pages for your own reference but you may not copy, redistribute or build a competing service from our content without permission.
Any report we produce is written by us and remains our intellectual work, although we grant you a non-exclusive right to use each report for the internal business purpose for which it was created. Your own design files, bills of materials and product information remain your property, and we claim no rights in them beyond using them to perform the work you have asked us to complete.
Both sides may see confidential material in the course of working together, including bills of materials, design drawings, test data and business correspondence. We treat all such material as confidential, limit access to staff who need it and do not disclose it to any other customer or to the public.
This duty survives the end of our relationship and does not apply only to information that is already in the public domain, that we received lawfully from a third party, or that we are required to reveal by law. Where you send data that is commercially sensitive, you may ask us to sign a separate non-disclosure agreement before any such material is shared, and we will usually agree to do so.
We warrant that we will perform the services using reasonable skill and care and that our work will conform to the agreed scope. Nothing in these terms limits any warranty that cannot lawfully be limited, nor any right you may hold under mandatory consumer law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
You warrant that you are entitled to submit the samples and documents you send us, that they are not dangerous unless you have clearly warned us, and that they do not infringe the rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify us against losses arising from a breach of these warranties, for example where a dangerous or infringing sample causes damage for which you are responsible.
Our total liability to you for any event that causes loss or damage, whether under contract, in negligence or otherwise, is limited to the total fees you paid us for the specific order that gave rise to the claim. This limit helps us keep testing affordable and matches our insurance position.
In no event will we be liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, for loss of data, or for damage to samples beyond the replacement cost you insured them for, where the loss arises from an event we did not foresee and could not reasonably have guarded against. Force majeure events, including storms, strikes, power loss and pandemics, suspend our obligations without liability to the extent they prevent us from working.
What this limit does not do is hide carelessness behind fine print. If we make a genuine error in performing the work we agreed to do, we would rather correct it, retest the affected items and rebuild your confidence than argue over words on a page. The monetary cap simply reflects the practical reality of running a service business where the value at stake in a customer project can far exceed the fee we were paid for our small part of it. You can protect against the wider risk by carrying your own insurance, and by asking us for a copy of our own liability insurance details whenever you need them.
Some legal systems do not allow a service provider to limit liability in particular ways. Where any such rule applies to you, we respect it, and the limits in this clause apply only to the fullest extent the law of Hong Kong permits. Nothing in these terms removes a right you hold under mandatory law that cannot be waived by agreement between two companies.
Either of us may end the website agreement at any time by ceasing to use it. For contracted testing work, either party may cancel an order by giving written notice, but work already performed up to the date of cancellation is payable in full.
If you cancel testing partway through a long screening run, we will invoice fairly for the stages completed and for materials committed for your project, and we will return any unused samples to you. Should we cancel because you breach these terms, fees earned remain due and we will stop further work, returning your samples promptly to the address you give us.
These terms, along with any written quotation, form the entire agreement between us for each order and replace any earlier discussion. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder still stands, and each provision operates separately as far as the law allows.
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the website or to our testing services, and both you and we agree to the convenience of those courts. Where you enjoy a legal right that cannot be waived, such as protections in your own country, nothing in this clause removes that right.
