PCB Assembly Inspection

We examine every assembled board for solder joint integrity, correct polarity, component placement and trace condition under magnification. Each panel is compared against its approved bill of materials so that shifted batches and swapped parts are caught before they become field failures.

Our inspectors work from a written checklist for every board type, so nothing is left to memory and the same eyes catch the same class of fault every time. Solder wetting, tombstoned parts, lifted pads, solder balls and bridging are recorded with the exact board position and a clear photograph. When a fault is found we mark it on a board map your rework bench can follow directly, which shortens the distance between detection and correction more than any inspection alone can.

Mixed-signal boards, fine-pitch packages and double-sided assemblies each get a moment on the fixture that matches their difficulty. Because we inspect against the real build record rather than a set of assumptions, a part that simply should not be in the design stands out immediately, and you learn about a sourcing or ordering mistake before it becomes several thousand unusable boards.

Functional Circuit Testing

Powered boards are exercised through their full operating envelope. We measure supply rails, clock edges, current draw and signal integrity against the design specification, confirming that each circuit performs its intended function under real electrical load rather than only at a superficial connect-detect level.

A bed-of-nails fixture holds the board steady while our test vectors switch its inputs, read its outputs and watch for responses that drift outside the allowed window. We agree the pass criteria with you before the run starts, so a board that passes does so because it genuinely meets the numbers your engineers set, not because we chose lenient limits to make the batch look good.

When a board does not comply, the failure is not discarded in a vague remark. We record the failing pin, the expected value, the measured value and the condition of the test, so your team can reproduce the issue on your own bench and decide between a component swap, a rework and a design change with full information in hand.

Component Authenticity Verification

Counterfeit and re-stamped parts threaten reliability and safety. We decapsulate samples, check die markings, compare package measurements and confirm sourcing history so that the components integrated into your design are genuine and traceable back to their true origin. Suspicious lots are flagged for rework rather than released.

The market today contains parts that look genuine at a glance but carry the wrong silicon inside, and the cost of fitting one into a safety-related assembly is far greater than the price of a careful check. We compare surface markings with known reference samples, weigh the package, and verify electrical parameters such as resistance, leakage and timing that counterfeiters rarely match well enough to fool.

Where doubt remains we go deeper at the die level, opening a sample to inspect the internal structure and stored identity codes. Environmental and Burn-In Screening

Temperature cycling and extended burn-in expose early-life weaknesses that would otherwise surface after the product ships. We stress samples through thermal, humidity and long-run electrical conditions, immediately removing parts that drift out of specification and certifying the remainder as field-ready.

The greatest number of electronic failures happen early in the useful life of a part, which is exactly why a controlled burn-in is so valuable. By running samples at elevated temperature while they carry load, we encourage weak bonds and marginal silicon to fail on our bench rather than inside your product on a customer wall.

Every thermal cycle and every soak hour is recorded, so the certificate you receive shows a real profile rather than a claim. Oscilloscope-grade monitoring captures parameter drift as it happens, and any sample that leaves specification is flagged and removed from the population before it ever reaches your line.
